在現(xiàn)有的經(jīng)濟形勢的改變和調(diào)整中,伴隨著中國正走向一個比現(xiàn)在更大的經(jīng)濟強國, 我認為中國的物價上漲是毋庸置疑的。
我看到這些在歐洲發(fā)生, 更確切的說是當歐盟成立的時候在西班牙是怎么發(fā)生的。
我不會忘記在瓦倫西亞我們一行6人出去吃當?shù)亓餍械暮ur晚餐,當時我們享用了一頓很棒的晚餐,還喝了一點啤酒,我只花了大概360元人民幣。 今天如果我們再來這么一頓晚餐的話,我想毫無疑問至少要花掉1000元。
同樣的事情也在中國發(fā)生,特別是在陶瓷行業(yè)。 我現(xiàn)在正在印度尼西亞,我發(fā)現(xiàn)這邊的薪水比中國要低。 在過去基本上沒有國家的薪水比中國更低, 這一切顯然已經(jīng)成為歷史。
伴隨著更低的薪水,以及印度尼西亞作為世界上重要的陶瓷生產(chǎn)國家這一現(xiàn)實,印度尼西亞成為了中國陶瓷生產(chǎn)企業(yè)的一個更大的競爭對手,至少在一些產(chǎn)品上是這樣的。
中國對巨大的國內(nèi)市場非常依賴和有信心, 這是世界上最大的市場,將來很可能也會保持這個市場地位。
但是只靠國內(nèi)市場是不保險的,就像我們大多數(shù)的公司還是要依靠一部分出口銷售。 隨著競爭越來越激烈,最終唯一能夠讓你保持差異化的將會是客戶服務,不是價格,不是大規(guī)格,不是種類,不是拋與不拋,這些都不會再成為差異化的因素。
我堅信這是中國的企業(yè)需要更多關注到的一個方面。 我自己就可以作為一個例子。
我用過去四個月在我身上的例子來說說。去年11月份我決定從廣州搬到佛山住的時候, 我需要一些新的家具以及重新裝修新住所。
施工隊沒有在他們承諾的時間內(nèi)按時完成工作,他們犯了錯誤并且沒有去修正; 我買的家具沒有按照說好的交期發(fā)貨;他們發(fā)貨的時候,沒有準備好幫你搬進家并且都沒有工具;有些家具缺失了一些部件,而我所聽到的一切不過是不想處理或者不想修理的一些借口而已。
我不會對你說假話,類似的采購起碼有10次,沒有一次收貨讓我感到完全滿意的。 直到上個禮拜,我家里定制了一些紗窗, 那些人跑過來量尺寸,承諾了5天之后過來安裝。他們做到了! 安裝也就花了幾個小時,而且按照他們之前報的價進行收費。 這是完整的客戶滿意度!
實話跟你說吧,這個例子是我在中國的經(jīng)歷里面少數(shù)的例外,我們陶瓷行業(yè)也需要注意同樣的事情,因為過不了多久,我們的優(yōu)勢將會喪失,到時候一切將基于服務、質(zhì)量、設計,而不再是價格。 (翻譯:耿海波 廖年燦)
With the current economic changes and adjustments and China becoming a bigger powerhouse than it is now, there is no doubt in my mind that all prices will go up in this Country.
I saw how it happened in Europe and to be more specific in Spain when the European community was formed.
I will never forget that we went out for dinner (6 people) to eat the popular seafood in Valencia and we had a great dinner and a few beers and I only paid like 360 RMB. Now days if we would do the same dinner, there is no doubt in my mind that the cost will be more like 1000 RMB at least.
The same is happening in China and specifically in the ceramic sector, our industry. I am currently in Indonesia and I noticed that the salaries are lower than China. In the past there was almost no country in the world that would have lower salaries than China. That is history for sure now.
With the lower salaries and Indonesia being an important world ceramic manufacturer it becomes a bigger world competitor to the Chinese Manufacturer, at least in certain product lines.
The Chinese rely and trust the domestic market that is huge and still by far the biggest in the world. It is and will probably remain like that, as the biggest.
But it is not safe to rely on the domestic market only as most of us depend on having some export sales. But as competition gets tougher the only thing that eventually will make the difference would be customer service. Not price, not the big sizes, or styles or polished products will be any longer the differentiators.
I strongly believe that this is one of the areas that China needs to pay more, a lot more attention to. I have been a real life example of that myself.
I will close the article with these real life examples that has happened to me in the past 4 months. When I decided to move to Foshan in November from Guangzhou I had to buy sever things for the house I moved to and re-decorate it.
The construction team did not finish in time or the time they promised, they made mistakes and were not corrected, the furniture I bought was not delivered the day it was promised and when it was delivered they were not prepared to moved it in and did not have the equipment to do it. Some of the furniture missed some parts, and all I heard was excuses not to take care of these things not to fix them.
I am not going to lie to you, I made like 10 different purchases and not a single one was delivered with full customer satisfaction. Until last week when we purchased some window screens, the people went to measure when they said, they promised to deliver 5 days later and they did, and the installation took only a couple of hours and they charged what they quoted originally. TOTAL CUSTOMER satisfaction!
To be honest with you this specific example was the exception to my experience in China and something to keep an eye on in our industry (Ceramic) because not too long from now there will be no advantages at all and everything will depend on service, quality, design and no longer price only.
